System Updates
Always, always allow your Apple to update your software as there are many security requirements to ensure the safe operation of your computer.
I am surprised, sometimes, to find that people always dismiss this notification. When I ask why there is usually one answer: I just can’t hang around waiting for the computer to update – or similar. While I understand that you don’t really care if your iPhoto has all the necesaary updates to support all the camera RAW formats, you do need to install security updates. Click on the Show Details button to select which items you MUST UPDATE and just delete the ones you don’t want – this will at least shave off some down time while updating only the software you care about!
